Refund & Returns Policy

At North Miami Beach Academy, we are committed to transparency in all aspects of our enrollment and billing practices. We understand that circumstances change, and we have established clear, fair refund guidelines for every program and service we offer.

This policy applies to all NMBA programs including Full-Time Academy enrollment, Year-Round Camps, Afterschool Programs, Private Lessons, Adult Group Clinics, Memberships, Academy Gear, and College Placement Services. Please review the section that applies to your purchase. If you have questions before enrolling, we encourage you to contact our administrative team — we are happy to walk you through the terms.

Program Policies
Full-Time Academy

NMBA maintains a strict no-refund policy for Full-Time Academy enrollment. This applies to voluntary withdrawal, involuntary dismissal, and time away for tournaments or vacations. Please review the terms below carefully prior to enrolling.

Important: The signed Enrollment Agreement is the final and binding document governing all cancellation and refund matters for Full-Time Academy participants. The information on this page is provided as a general summary. In any case of discrepancy, the terms of the Enrollment Agreement shall prevail. To request a copy, contact frontdesk@nmbacademy.com.
Key Policy Terms
Situation Outcome
Voluntary withdrawal at any time No refund
Involuntary dismissal / expulsion No refund. NMBA reserves the right to dismiss any participant whose conduct contravenes the standards and integrity of the program.
Time off for tournaments or vacations No refund or credit
Medical absence of 45+ consecutive days Medical credit of 40% of remaining semester tuition may be applied toward a future enrollment period. Supporting documentation required.
Enrollment deposit Non-refundable under all circumstances. Applied toward total tuition.
Property loss or damage caused by participant Family is financially responsible for any loss, damage, or destruction to Academy or campus property.
Medical Credit
A medical credit equal to 40% of remaining semester tuition may be considered for absences of 45 or more consecutive days. A physician's letter is required. Boarding athletes must vacate Academy housing within 48 hours of approval. Full terms are outlined in the Enrollment Agreement.
Submit a Request
All requests must be submitted in writing to frontdesk@nmbacademy.com with the participant's name, program, and supporting documentation. Verbal requests will not be honored. Our team will respond within 2 business days.
Program Policies
Camps & Afterschool Programs
Cash refunds are not issued for camp or afterschool program enrollments. NMBA's approach is to work with families and apply cancellations as program credits wherever possible. We are committed to finding a solution that works for your family.
Year-Round
Training Camps
There are no cash refunds for Year-Round Camp enrollments. Cancellations will be applied as a program credit toward a future camp session.

NMBA works with families on a case-by-case basis and will make every reasonable effort to accommodate rescheduling requests. To submit a cancellation or credit request, email frontdesk@nmbacademy.com. Credits are non-transferable and must be used within the same program year unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Camp deposits and registration fees are non-refundable under all circumstances.
Afterschool
Introductory Program
There are no refunds for Afterschool Introductory Program enrollment. Withdrawals or cancellations may be considered for a program credit at NMBA's sole discretion.

Families wishing to withdraw or request a credit should contact our administrative team in writing at frontdesk@nmbacademy.com as early as possible. We will review each situation individually and respond within 2 business days.

Afterschool
Competitive Program
There are no refunds for Afterschool Competitive Program enrollment. Withdrawals or cancellations may be considered for a program credit at NMBA's sole discretion.

Program Policies
Lessons, Clinics & Memberships
The policies below apply to individually purchased services and membership plans. NMBA's priority is to ensure every participant gets full value from their investment with us.
Private Training
Private Lessons & Service Packs
Purchased private lessons and service packs are non-refundable. Any unused sessions resulting from a cancellation will be applied as a credit and rescheduled at a mutually agreeable time.

Cancellations must be submitted with a minimum of 24 hours notice prior to the scheduled session. No-shows or same-day cancellations will be considered a forfeited session with no credit applied.

Applies to all on-court lesson packs and mental performance packs.
Adult Programs
Adult Group Clinics
Adult Group Clinic sessions are non-refundable once booked. Cancellations submitted with a minimum of 24 hours notice may be eligible for a session credit toward a future clinic.

No-shows or same-day cancellations forfeit the session with no credit applied. Please contact us as early as possible if you need to reschedule.

Session credits are non-transferable and must be used within the current program season.
Memberships
Resident & Non-Resident Memberships
Membership fees are non-refundable. Members wishing to pause or cancel their membership should contact our administrative office in writing.

Our team will review your request and work with you to find an appropriate resolution. Specific membership cancellation terms are provided at the time of enrollment.

Gear, Placement & Fees
Merchandise
Academy Gear & Apparel
Academy Gear items may be returned within 30 days of purchase provided the item is unused, unwashed, and in its original condition with all tags attached. Items that have been worn, washed, or altered are not eligible for return.
Defective or incorrect items will be exchanged or credited in full at no cost to you.
To initiate a return, email frontdesk@nmbacademy.com with your order number, item description, and reason for return. Our team will respond within 2 business days with return instructions. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the item is defective or an error was made on our part.
Advisory Services
College Placement Services
College Placement Services fees are non-refundable once the engagement has commenced. These services are delivered over an extended advisory period and fees reflect the scope of work initiated upon enrollment.
If NMBA is unable to fulfill the agreed scope of services, a pro-rated credit for undelivered services will be considered at NMBA's sole discretion.

Payment
Processing Fees
A processing fee is applied to all payments made by credit card or wire transfer. To avoid this fee, payments may be submitted via ACH bank transfer, US Money Order, or US Bank Draft. Processing fees are non-refundable under all circumstances.

If your request involves a medical situation, please attach a physician's letter or relevant medical documentation. This will help us process your request as efficiently as possible.

Receive Acknowledgment Within 2 Business Days
Our team will acknowledge receipt of your request and provide a timeline for review. Complex requests involving medical documentation may require additional review time.

Credit Confirmed in Writing
Approved credits are confirmed in writing and applied to a future reservation. Processing fees and enrollment deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances.
