About Scott
Scott A. Del Mastro has trained professional and junior athletes on U.S. and world circuits for more than 35 years. A former NCAA Division I tennis player at San Diego State University — where the team was ranked #21 nationally — Scott brings a firsthand understanding of the dual demands of academic and athletic excellence that defines the student-athlete experience.
Holding a Master of Arts in Physical Education and Sport Psychology from San Diego State University, Scott believes in developing the complete player and person on and off the court. His training specialties are Energy Management, Footwork and Movement, Mental Conditioning, and Fitness — disciplines he has refined across decades of work with athletes from the ATP, WTA, ITF, and US National domestic and world circuits.
As founder and operator of the International Tennis Academy (ITA) in Delray Beach, FL for 14 years, Scott conceptualized and developed the Club Med Academies College Placement Program, which has assisted thousands of athletes in the college entrance process — generating millions of dollars in collegiate athletic and academic scholarships.
Scott developed a long-term coaching relationship with the Tianjin Tennis Center in Tianjin, China — one of the most respected Chinese tennis training centers — helping train their professional men and women for multiple Chinese National Games. He has delivered clinics, workshops, and presentations in more than 12 countries across North America, the Caribbean, and Asia.
As a named executive officer and Board Director of Altitude International Holdings, Inc. (OTC: ALTD), Scott oversaw $7+ million in annual academy revenues, 97 employees, and a student body representing 20–25 nationalities annually across multiple COGNIA-accredited K-12 programs.
At North Miami Beach Academy, Scott oversees day-to-day operations, leads the mental performance coaching program, directs physical conditioning programs for elite junior athletes, manages the admissions pipeline, and coordinates the student-athlete college placement process.
"Sometimes obvious, often hidden are the things that will help us reach our potential. Journeying together is what makes it significant for me."
